DDoS Policy

Effective Date: 22 May 2025

Purpose

This policy strictly prohibits the use of Auxodomain.com services to initiate, facilitate, or participate in any Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. It is designed to protect our infrastructure, services, and community by ensuring all users comply with responsible usage. The policy clearly defines user responsibilities and the enforcement actions that will be taken immediately upon detection of any DDoS-related activity originating from our services.

Scope

This policy applies to all users and customers of Auxodomain.com services, including but not limited to hosting, servers, and network resources.

Prohibited Activities

  • Users must not use Auxodomain services to initiate, facilitate, or participate in any DDoS activity targeting any external or internal system.
  • Run software, scripts, or services designed to generate traffic intended to overwhelm, disrupt, or degrade networks, servers, or applications.
  • Conceal or obfuscate traffic originating from Auxodomain services that contributes to DDoS activity.

Detection and Notification

  • Auxodomain monitors its network and services for signs of DDoS-related activity.
  • When a service or user is identified as the source of DDoS traffic or activity, Auxodomain will notify the user regarding the detected issue.
  • The user will be given a period of 48 hours (2x24 hours) from the time of notification to take corrective action and resolve the issue.

Service Suspension and Termination

  • If the issue related to DDoS activity is not resolved within the 48-hour period, Auxodomain reserves the right to suspend or terminate the affected services without further notice.
  • Suspension or termination remains in effect until Auxodomain confirms that the issue has been fully resolved.

User Responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for securing their applications, servers, and network configurations to prevent their services from being used in DDoS activities.
  • Users must promptly respond to and address notifications from Auxodomain regarding DDoS activity involving their services.
  • Failure to comply with this policy may result in suspension or termination of services.

Limitation of Liability

  • Auxodomain strives to maintain high service availability but does not guarantee immunity from DDoS attacks.
  • Auxodomain is not liable for any damages, losses, or interruptions caused by DDoS activity or resulting service suspension or termination under this policy.

Policy Updates

  • Auxodomain reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
